I cannot deny that I'm having a hard time studying. Oh my, there I go again. It's always the same every year after year after year. I don't know if I could keep up this positive perspective of mine. Complaining about everything will not make the pain leave. Still, I feel lighter when I complain. So far, I was able to ace my History exam, last monday. It soothed my head a little. We were told to make a reaction paper about a certain video. But, unfortunately, we have to write the paper whilst listening to the video conferrence. I barely passed my Math exam -- just barely. I read four chapters in Political Science and, recently, finished a writeup for my Socio 11. I pulled them off. And they were all fit in one week. Glad they're all over. Now I can sleep. update: there are three additional wallpapers. Follow the link under the Downloads section at the left sidepanel. Jump To: ![]() ![]() ![]() posted by: kimikimkim

Unfortunately, a tragedy occurred in the family when his Mom died. She died from an unknown illness. From then on, everything turned different. The family was broken. But Dad was determined. "I will never let something bad happen to you, I promise." Dad promised his son. His Dad, lonely but strong, strived, persevered-- worked hard to keep the family strong. As the time passed, the son slowly changed his image. He began to turn his back on school. He began to forget his lessons. He started smoking. He started drinking. He started having vises. Daddy saw it coming. Dad was disappointed. He was depressed. But he held on. The promise he gave to his son did not fade. "I will never let something bad happen to you, I promise." Daddy promised. When he reached the age of twenty, the son committed a heinous crime. Apparently, the punishment for his crime was death penalty. Dad couldn't believe what was happening. Dad was scared but he held on tighter. There was six hours left before his son's death. Dad decided to visit his son in his cell. Their conversation was colorful though he couldn't hide the sadness in it. There was 4 hours left, then 3, 2 and came down his last hour before his son's death. Before his son left his cell, his Dad promised again. "I will never let something bad happen to you." There was only 30 minutes left. Then 15, 10, 5… finally 1 minute left before the son's death. The prison used a manual bell for the decision. "If the bell will sound, then the decision for your death penalty will be carried on." told the warden. 1 minute, 30 seconds, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 second passed. The jail guard pulled the string for the bell. The bell did not struck. After 10, 20, 30 attempts still the bell did not struck. The jail guard wondered. Then he saw blood pouring down the cord. He looked up as he saw a man with bloody hands, a bloody chest and a bloody head. He took every pound the bell gave him to prevent it from sounding off. It was Daddy… who made his promise. I can already feel the anxiety of first day. I've already started packing. Damn! It's going to be different from now on. I'll be extra busy with academics! Boring. I've always wanted to combine work and leisure together. Actually, I've been able to do combine them during my previous school year. And I'm just praying I could still execute the combination this year. I keep on thinking about what will happen tomorrow. Especially when I'm in the university. I always wonder if I'll fail, be embarrassed, meet someone, ace an exam and so on. Good thing I'm already a sophomore. I'm no longer the snotty- nosed freshman. This is my second year and I'll do my best to be on the roll! I just hope my rolling could happen. It's getting really late and I should go to bed. Aww... I'm still not used to go to sleep at this hour. During summer break, I usually go to bed around 2 - 3 am. Let's say I'd like to make most of my summer. Jump To:![]() ![]() ![]() posted by: kimikimkim

Keitaro and the gang are back in Toudai and I'll be back in the University of the Philippines as well. Our registration for this semester is tomorrow. I'll bet there will be a lot of upperclassmen enrolling. In effect, a great deal of endurance and patience is required. It's too early to share what's for tomorrow. In the meantime, chill.
