my diary : overcoming sensation

I couldn't sleep. A personal moment. I have to write to put myself to tone down. I would fancy recalling how I felt when you fell asleep on my lap. It was a few years back when we barely knew each other. Mind you it was probably my most romantic evening in my whole life. Though it didn't feel like February 14, thinking of that moment with you touches me forever.

If you remember, we were with some friends. We were all having fun then. Playing cards and munching nuts, we were talking about the stuff we can do after we graduate. Of course you were beside me laughing; suddenly you taught me how to be a standup comedian. Moreover, I could still remember how you picked on me when I lost the third time playing a stupid card game.

Now I realize it's not just a stupid card game after all. I didn't mind, however the presence of all my friends around me comforts my being. It is funny how I finally understood myself. It all changed. I, being eccentric and solitary, slowly adapted to a social being. A monster, I would always describe myself for not missing a single beach party.

I would always laugh at my usual self. I would always worry about my failing grades. I would normally tell myself a jerk who's persistent of staying this way.

Now let us turn back to that rather warm evening. After hours of hard laughs and total enjoyment, I could already feel the weary atmosphere creeping throughout my room.

I could already feel your wearisome being shortly after noticing your eyes droop. Your eyes were teary, a clear sign that suggests of you starting to fall asleep. But there was something else of what I saw through those weary eyes. I couldn't exactly tell if it was a sudden realization of some sort. They were beautiful.

I felt your cheeks creep 'til it lay firmly on my collar. Your crown felt gentle but mind you it gave me goosebumps making my own hair stand. You were warm, a sign I thought of life at rest. It was the joy of your comfort.

I suddenly felt that funny cold gust that ran through my spines which made my heart beat fast. My body, then, started acting by itself. Your face was calm but a familiar trace of ecstasy seemed indelible. You are the most beautiful girl I ever met.

We all want to fall in love. Why? We might have our own reason. But maybe because that experience makes us feel completely alive. Where every sense is heightened, every emotion is magnified, our everyday reality is shattered and we are flying into the heavens. It may only last a moment, an hour, an afternoon. But that doesn't diminish its value. Because we are left with memories that we treasure for the rest of our lives."

1) Don't turn your back to love when it's already in front of you. Don't drive it away from you, because if you do, someday, you'll think again, why you let love flew when it was there next to you.

2) In Love, think things first over if you're sure about how you feel. Don't fall too hard not knowing where you will stand, 'coz it will hurt real bad if things don't go the way you want them to be.

3) It's an irony to know that it takes hours for someone to have guts to say "hi" to the one he likes, days to admire,weeks to miss the person, months to love, but just a blink of an eye to say goodbye...

4) Go for the person who loves you. It is not wrong to love someone who belongs to someone else, but it is much better to love someone who could also love you in return.

my diary : a smile can last forever

People always wonder why I like to smile. You can always find my one-by-one or two-by-two pics smiling at you. I guess it's my standard pose. I guess I like to smile a lot. I guess it's in my nature. I guess I'm always thinking something devious.

Here's something to ponder: I've been receiving text messages that says it takes fewer muscles to smile than to frown; so we should smile instead. Happiness, it seems, is the lazy person's emotion *I beg to differ*. If this is true, then I'd say I've saved a lot of effort in my existence. However I've found out that it takes 12 muscles to smile and only 11 muscles to frown. I discovered this finding on the net. In light of this evidence, it doesn't mean that we should stop smiling right?

I guess my friends are familiar with my expression. I'm no comedian... but I don't know... I asked them why and they said that whenever they see my face, they can't help but laugh, or maybe chuckle, or maybe laugh even. The problem is, I can't become serious in front of them. I mean they shouldn't be surprised if I'm angry or sad or what not. However, it's also awkward to become mad at someone and show that I'm pissed off to everyone inside the room. I for one feel uneasy whenever I see a friend in rage. Duck and cover; make a run for it.

A jolly lad unleashing anger can become quite a pickle. Imagine an explosive volcano. Imagine all the gas and magma heating up until... BOOM! The volcano couldn't take it anymore and there goes the lava, not to mention death from above. I could say it's healthy to become angry -- though you age twice as fast.

A smile is a language even a baby understands. It costs nothing but it creates so much. It happens in a flash but the memory of it may last forever. So keep on smiling.

my diary : eye bags

What is the true meaning of love? Love is deep. Love is a feeling. Love is a choice. Love is the world. Love is God. We have our own meaning of love. I wonder if its essence applies to all of them.

Anyway a friend of mine once told me that:
If it's because of her eyes or her lips or her great body, it's not love. It's lust.
If it's because of her intelligence or insight about life, it's not love. It's admiration.
If it's because she cares everytime you try to leave, it's not love. It's pity.
If it's because she makes you forget to study and sleep, it's not love. It's infatuation.
Love is when you don't know why you seem to be attracted to a person. Love has its reason. And that reason is unknown.

All this talk about love is making my head exhausted. I'm hitting the sack. Oyasumi.

my diary : my gaming desktop is fixed!

Finally! It's fixed! It's finally fixed! That damn PC finally came about! Wait, I think I got tears in my eyes. It has been a long while of waiting, not to mention dry and sleepless nights, ever since that PC got screwed up. If my memory serves me right, we've reformatted our hard-disk four times and counting. Yes, we've erased our hard- drive on a daily basis. That damn thing kept crashing. Turned out that the motherboard, the old one, got fried. We bought a new one with 8x and so far so good. There's not a problem on sight.

I hurriedly installed The Sims 2, returned the shortcuts of WC3, Frozen Throne, Battle Realms... etc. The usual benchmark games to see if it pleases me. Next thing I knew: I jumped up and down on my seat and screamed like a little girl. The framerates are liquid smooth. Damn! Honestly right now, my brother's playing Civ4. I may have to thank him, since he busted the old mobo plus vc.

I also persuaded *more like begged on my knees* my dad to buy a new videocard because my last videocard is also messed up. We were a little low on cash so we bought a GeForce 5500 FX 256MB DDR. Which reminds me, the latest games in today's market requires pixel shaders technology. Finally, I can try out Call of Duty 2, Brothers in Arms and Fable! I heart The Sims 2 more with my new videocard. Obviously, there's nothing more to say than... I CAN'T WAIT FOR SEMBREAK!!
