my diary : come back! come back here!

Ow ow ow. My hands hurt. I just got home after my 7-10PM practice at my new church. I tried playing the bongo for three hours and I think my hands are bleeding internally. Good thing it's internal bleeding, I don't feel well when I see blood. Erm, did I just say that hemorrhage it's a good thing?

I'm not that tired but slapping my hands on a hard surface for three hours isn't a walk in the park. Plus I'm new so I barely know their songs. The songs are really different and I have to spend a lot of time in order to pull of combos if ever I'll touch my drumsticks again. But I'm really confident that I'll be able to play the drums in the near future. Just... just not now. I'm relieved that practice is dealt with. Now I can eat some cake. If there's still a piece of it left.

Didn't I tell you? Today's my aunt's birthday. She turned *someone covered my mouth*. Oh yeah, age is confidential except for business.

my diary : takbo na!

Grabe. Wala na talaga sa rhythm ang body clock ko. Ako na kaya ang magtrabaho sa Vitahealth? Ehehe, speaking of which, magtatrabaho na rin ang kuya ko. Evening shift siya so... since gising pa ako (at alas kwatro na ng umaga) ako na lang kaya? Haaayyy, iniisip siguro ng mga magulang ko: nakaraos din! Thank God! So hindi na nila ako kukulitin sa pansamantalang panahon. Eh lagi na lang nila akong tinutulak na maghanap ng trabaho. EH WALA PA NGA AKONG IDEYA sa bagong tahanan ko. Paano ba ang mga liko liko ng Winnipeg, Canada?

Anyway, malapit na lang, aking mga magulang. Malapit na lang at maguumpisa na rin akong maging busy niyan. Proof? Maguumpisa na akong magtatambol sa bago kong church. Shucks, paano niyan? Ang galing ng mga kasama ko. Ewan ko nga kung makakahabol ako o makakatugtog ng maayos niyan. However, I think God won't care if I can play well or not. But then again, mas maganda na ang maayos. Sa Huwebes na ang una kong hirit.

Napanood niyo ba ang nangyari kay Garbajosa?! Forward siya ng Toronto Raptors. Number 15. Toronto Raptors kasi kami eh. Pero hindi yun ang gusto kong sabihin. ANG SAKIT NG NANGYARI SA KANYA! DISLOCATION! Here's a video. Sakit nun. Kitang kita yung disturbed reaction ni Al Jefferson. Erm... foul pa si Garbajosa.

Anyway, tulog na ko. I just needed to free my mind quick.

my diary : red and green

I've started drafting my online novel. I still can't believe I'm pushing myself to work on this project because... I have no idea or experience about publishing a novel. I started planning a year ago. It's not a walk in the park. But I'm getting by. Sometimes, I can't sleep because I have these cluttered thoughts, rants and raves inside my head and it's bothering me unless I write them down. Some may call it a blessing in disguise. I call it insomnia.

I have a new favorite song even though it's old. It's A320 by the Foo Fighters and somehow I can relate to the song. Anyway, I just uploaded the song and lyrics at blog hina radio (refer to lower right sidepanel).

My brother just found a job and he's going to have his orientation next week. He's about to enter the real world. Heck, they'll start paying 'im on the moment he sits down and listen to their intro. I'm a bit relieved -- not jealous -- and I'm really happy for him. Buffet after first paycheck 'ayt?

I miss my friends. I miss my relatives. I miss my classmates. I miss my bandmates. The real farewell starts when they rarely chat with you (online or not) and feel like you're getting left behind in whatever is happening to them.

"Doctor, Doctor, You've got to help me - I just can't stop my hands shaking!"
"Do you drink a lot?"
"Not really - I spill most of it!"

"Doctor, doctor, will I be able to play the violin after the operation?"
"Yes, of course..."
"Great! I never could before!"

A man speaks frantically into the phone, "My wife is pregnant, and her contractions are only two minutes apart!"
"Is this her first child?" the doctor queries.
"No, you idiot!" the man shouts. "This is her husband!"

Doctor: I have some bad news and some very bad news.
Patient: Well, might as well give me the bad news first.
Doctor: The lab called with your test results. They said you have 24 hours to live.
Patient: 24 HOURS! Thats terrible!! WHAT could be WORSE? What's the very bad news?
Doctor: I've been trying to reach you since yesterday.

A man goes to the eye doctor. The receptionist asks him why he is there. The man complains, "I keep seeing spots in front of my eyes."
The receptionist asks, "Have you ever seen a doctor?" and the man replies, "No, just spots."

my diary : get a firm grip

After browsing the contents of my laptop, I accidentally double clicked the wrong folder to my archive -- the archives of old pictures and memories. Then, a roll of film of my past life reeled inside my head. One by one what happened before the 24th of February 2007 came back to me. My old home, my friends, my loveones, everything turned up the monitor, thanks to the thumbnail view. I felt a bit depressed. But I became really homesick after staring at them for fifteen minutes on my screen. I realized, I wonder if I took pictures of my old room. Alas, the week short of packing and planning got in the way and I totally forgot to take the picture. A tip, have two weeks or three to pack.

I'm stuffed. We had buffet again and I'm still not used to it. Every Sunday, boom! Buffet. I don't eat breakfast whenever it's Sunday to make room for the eatathon. Anyway, I didn't logged in to rant about getting full nor eating a buffet. The old COMELEC building burned. Great. What the hell? I think it wasn't an accident. To be honest, I'd rule out that it was an accident. Yes. In my opinion, it was planted. However, I'm not in the mood to be political. Hmm... come to think of it, will I ever be political. I'm betting I have to be in the future. Heck, we have to be political sometimes, don't you think?

my diary : Tadaima!

... And we're back on regular programming. Did you guys miss me? Apparently not.

Sorry, I don't have pictures of me on snow yet. I'm currently living under my uncle's roof. I'm looking forward to new life in Winnipeg. Thinking about it makes me nervous.

I'm a little dazed and speechless right now. It's March and spring is around the corner but it's still cold. Where art thou o spring?! Then my cousin told me it's still cold during spring. Instead, I should be looking for summer. Dude, tagal pa nun. Meanwhile I'll just have to enjoy my cold feet and the windchill.
